INTRO:
Story 1
My name is Mark Matzeldelaflor, and I am a combat veteran Navy SEAL writing to all people who have been called to explore the Church of the People for Creator and Mother Earth…
I have sat with the church in Wamkish ceremony twice, and stand strongly behind the work Shane is doing to bring healing and connection to all people through the sacred medicines of mother earth which deepen our connection to the creator. It is beautiful to witness the work Shane continues to do, reconnecting with lost traditions and integrating them into modern worship ceremonies which are aligned with the traditions of his native ancestry.
Sitting in the Wamkish has helped me greatly in my own personal healing journey, and expanded my connection with the love of God. I believe with all the power in my heart that the work Shane does in the Wamkish is vitally important to healing for all people who feel a calling to deepen their connection to the creator and the environment in which we live.
The Wamkish ceremonies inspire a deep love and gratitude for each other, our communities, and our land, and through them I believe people will discover true unity and love for one another to shine a bright light on the future path we will walk together.
Peace and gratitude,
Mark Matzeldelaflor

Story 2
The Church of the People for Creator and Mother Earth is an act of healing and cultural revitalization that is desperately needed. Shane Norte has worked hard to heal from his own past traumas and now his work has broadened its scope to aid people from all walks of life. During ceremonies facilitated by the Church I have seen people of varying indigenous nations come together and share cultural wisdom and kinship in an environment unlike any I've seen before. The Wamkish provides an experience that grounds the participants deeply to the roots of our Earth, and an opportunity to find growth and healing in the medicinal plants used during the ceremony. I've personally been able to find healing from the Wamkish during periods of deep grief after losing family.

From pressure comes diamond, again FROM PRESSURE COMES DIAMOND. Find out for yourself!
I began traveling this country with my Native brothers and sisters, fighting for our rights as Native people to live freely. These movements were initiated to protect Mother Earth and reclaim our identity.
In 2020, we made significant strides in connecting our church with other healing circles. We’ve witnessed how Wamkish doses help people reconnect with Creator and Mother Earth. Our efforts have been recognized: we,ve won the fungi award for most Edutaining, been featured in podcast and appeared in Double Blind Magazine (issue No. 6). We’re also part of the Decriminalize Nature board. 2024 also selected by the Governor of Maryland to be part of the Task Force On The Responsible Use Of Natural Psychedelic Substances.
We’re here to support those who want to help themselves and pray to Creator and Mother earth
